What are Cast Stainless Steel grits?
They are produced by casting C steel adding elements like Cr-Ni followed by the atomization of the liquid metal. The chemical analysis, the preparation of the grain shape and the final selection, provide stainless qualities and as a result, the certainty of not leaving traces of oxidation (rust) on the shot blasting workpieces.
The choice of the grit granulometry to be used, depends on the shot blasting machine supplied, the workpieces to be treated, their chemical composition and the expected quality and productivity result.
